Do you do mobile massage?
No. All massage treatments are performed within our clinic.
Are you registered with health funds for rebates?
Yes. We are registered with many of the major health funds and we use a ‘Hi Caps’ payment terminal to process claims instantly. Please phone us on (02) 4967 7770 to ask about your specific health fund.
Are you registered with a professional association?
Yes we are. The Association of Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) is the professional association we belong to.

What is your cancellation policy?
“If you need to cancel” and don’t give us 24 hours’ notice we will charge 100% of your fee as you are taking the place of someone else in need of treatment. Thank you for your understanding.“If we need to cancel” on you and we do not give you 24 hours’ notice, we will find another practitioner of your choice or give you a free consultation.
Do you sell massage gift vouchers?
Massage gift vouchers for individual treatments can be purchased as treatment of choice vouchers or a set amount you want to spend.All gift vouchers are available for purchase and delivery by calling us on (02) 4967 7770. Gift vouchers ordered by phone can be paid by credit card or by posting a cheque or money order. Upon payment receipt, we will post a beautifully presented gift voucher to you via regular post. What Happens If I’m Running Late or If I Can’t Make My Appointment?
We request at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to make your appointment.Please phone 4967 7770.
Please note that cancellation fees will apply with less than 24 hours notice.
If you are running late, we will try our best to accommodate you so that your session is not compromised.
Please bear in mind that this may not always be possible due to other appointments and that the session will be charged at the booked rate.
What Happens After The Massage?
Please make sure that you get up from the table only when you are ready to.
The therapist will leave the room temporarily so that you can re-dress in private.
Please drink 1L of water following your session. Water helps your body to rehydrate and is essential following your massage as it can help eliminate toxins from your system.
What Are Your Cancellation / Rescheduling Policies?
At Newcastle Muscle Pain Solutions , we appreciate that sometimes, “life happens” and you will not be able to keep your appointment.With respect to Sydney Remedial Massages’ other clients, we request that at least 24 hours notice is given should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
The following cancellation fees will apply should appropriate notice not be given.
- Cancel or reschedule with less than 4 hours notice: 50% booked appointment fee
- Missed appointment: 100% cancellation fee

Yes. Our therapists are registered with all of the Health Funds. HICAPS is available for your convenience, which means that with the majority of Health Funds, you can claim instantly on the day.
If your Health Fund is not registed with HICAPS for Remedial Massage, we are able to issue you with a receipt with which you can then claim your rebate either online or manually.
